farewell gathering III
The bijins (and Daniel) gathered for my 'official' farewell dinner at Fish & Co. the week that i was scheduled to leave. I said it's the official one cos the week before, we had a pre-farewell dinner :p Ya, i know it sounds funny but with this group of girls, things are never a moment dull.
After dinner, someone from the restaurant brought a cake to our table and that's when i realised that in true bijinly style, the group had gotten me a cake to celebrate my birthday in advance. Needless to say, i was both surprised and very touched. And this is also the group of people who all went to the airport to send me off at 4am in the morning!
It's funny how we all became good friends and i think we've got the internet and emails to thank for that. Most of us didn't know one another that well back in hons class. Of course we did the occasional projects and listened to one another's presentations back then but it never really occured to me that one year after my university education ended, i would have gotten myself a few more good girl friends! Daniel is ever the hao nan ren in the group who despite his busy teacher's schedule, always finds time to join us in our many gatherings.
That's us after dinner. We were missing out on 2 more girls that day.
