family bonding
Ah yee and her family came for a visit earlier on in July. It's been 19 years since she went to the States for further studies, got married and settled down there. Nic and Cris have not even stepped foot onto Asia before. This is the first time they are meeting all the relatives and i bet it must be really confusing to suddenly see so many cousins, uncles and aunts what not.
Then there is my little uncle and his family from Taiwan too. Needless to say, mom was the most excited person as it's been nearly 7 years since they had a major reunion like this.
It was a huge affair for a month or so, bringing them sight-seeing and Mama of course spared no effort in over-feeding all of them! I literally stopped most activities and went around Singapore with them. Night time was spent drinking tea and chatting with adults or playing board games with the kids. Though tiring, we all really enjoyed the short time spent together. Living so far apart from one another, I wonder when we will all meet like this again?
